'Colorblind' 5-year old gets same haircut as friend to 'confuse' teacher

Jax Rosebush turns five this week, and before going to get his birthday haircut last weekend, he told his mom, Lydia, he wanted it cut close to the scalp to look like his classmate, Reddy.  Jax literally couldn't WAIT to stand next to his buddy and confuse his teacher because they were going to look EXACTLY alike, he thought.

On her Facebook post, Lydia wrote "He thought it would be so hilarious to confuse his teacher with the same haircut."  She added  "If this isn't proof that hate and prejudice is something that is taught I don't know what is. The only difference Jax sees in the two of them is their hair."

Lydia's post has gone super-viral, with more 60,000 shares and likes; it's been seen in every corner of the world - perhaps even in Africa, where Reddy and his brother Enok, age 2, were adopted from by Debbie and Kevin Weldon, who are also white.

These two boys don't see skin color.  They see 'friend.'  We can all stand to learn from that.
