Tropical storm Irma made her presence felt as far away as here along the Grand Strand today, pelting us with a lot of rain and high wind. The storm also may have put quite a scare into a plane load of arriving visitors, too.
A lot of flights into and out of Myrtle Beach International Airport were either cancelled or diverted elsewhere, according to airport officials, but one Allegiant Airlines flight sought to make a daring landing earlier today. Mother Nature - is her name Irma? - wasn't ready for that landing. Watch as video submitted by a viewer to our television partner - WPDE (ABC 15) - shows the approaching plane slowly being pushed off-course from its runway approach.
