PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Georgetown County schools will be closed on Friday, January 5, for all students and staff.We are continuing to monitor this winter weather event. Back to normal schedule Monday, January 8th.
Horry County schools will be closed on Friday, January 5. This school cancellation also applies to all school-sponsored extracurricular activities throughout this weekend. All 240 and 246-day employees should report to work tomorrow as driving conditions permit.
Florence County School District One officials have made the decision to close schools for students, faculty, and staff on Thursday.
Florence County School District Two schools and offices will be closed on Friday, January 5. This closure applies to all extracurricular activities (after-school programs and athletic events).
Florence County School District Three and Four schools and offices will be closed for students and staff Friday, January 5.
Florence County School District Five (Johnsonville) will be closed on Friday, January 5
Marion County School District will close all schools and offices Friday, January 5. This closure includes any extracurricular activities and sporting events.
PRIVATE SCHOOLS
Grace Christian School in Loris, SC will be closed Friday, Jan. 5. Classes will resume Monday, January 8.
COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES
Horry Georgetown Technical College campuses will be closed Friday.
Coastal Carolina University campus will will operate on a delayed schedule on Friday, Jan. 5, beginning at 11 a.m.
