The trio was announced as headliners for the upcoming 2019 Days of Summer Cruise (formerly Summerfest) setting sail this June. "The cruise will offer fans to get up-close-and-personal with their favorite artists, and will offer a variety of parties and activities, including meet-n-greets, comedy shows, panels, and nightlife," Days of Summer organizers said in a statement.
The Carnival cruise will depart from Miami for the Bahamas on June 28 and return to Miami on July 1. "Prepare yourself for 4 days of non-stop parties when the kings of party style hip hop take over the seas," reads the Days of Summer website. "You’ll re-live your favorite party mix-tape hits live and in-person over 4-days on the sun drenched deck of Carnival Victory. Boasting a world-class spa, casino, 24-hour dining, and bars stocked full of cold Medinas, the Victory has all the amenities you’ll need to stay pampered and pumped to dance all week-end long!" Additional acts will be announced in the coming weeks. (To note, the festival is 18-and-over.)
Khaled hosted a similar music festival cruise called “Summerfest’’ in 2017 with Future, Migos, Lil Wayne and A$AP Rocky.
Speaking of similar cruises — the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block have hosted three meet-and-greet cruises in the past and KC and the Sunshine Band are gearing up to headline the first-ever "Ultimate Disco Cruise."
