More Coronavirus Cases, Deaths Announced In South Carolina

(Columbia, SC) -- There are four more coronavirus deaths in South Carolina, bringing the state's total to 44. 

Three of the newly-announced deaths were elderly patients, and the fourth was middle-aged with underlying health conditions. 

The patients were from Clarendon, Horry, Beaufort, and Lee counties. 

The Department of Health and Environmental Control also announced 132 new COVID-19 cases for a total of two-thousand-49.
