Kate Middleton has made a swift return to the public eye after completing chemotherapy amid an ongoing battle with abdominal cancer, and is slated to appear at her first major event this weekend!

According to People, the beloved royal will attend the annual Festival of Remembrance and Remembrance Sunday this weekend, standing out as one of her first events since completing chemotherapy in September. The Princess of Wales made her first public, post-treatment appearance during a trip to Southport (to show support for the families affected by the fatal July Southport stabbings) last month.

While Middleton plans to be present at both the Festival of Remembrance and Remembrance Sunday this weekend, her mother-in-law, Queen Camilla, who is currently attempting to heal from a chest infection, will not. On Tuesday (November 5) Buckingham Palace announced that the Queen was wiping her calendar for the week due to being "unwell" shortly after her and King Charles' return from Samoa.

Upon news of Queen Camilla's chest infection, it was revealed that she would be attending remembrance events if she "recovered in time," but, as of Friday (November 8), it seems she will be absent.
