Lil Nas X's VMA's Performance Cringy or Nah?!

I'll be honest, I didn't watch much of the 2019 MTV VMA's last night and haven't watched at all over the past couple of years. And boy was I in for a surprise when I tuned in last night (insert face palm). I tuned in Just as Lizzo was taking the stage with a big ol balloon butt in the background and dancers shaking it on stage. I remember thinking to my self,"Well alright, this should be an interesting night"! And then Lil Nas X made his appearance performing his new single, "Panini". And nothing was the same. Honestly, the crowd should've received an Oscar for pretending to be interested because they liked it, rather than finding it interesting for the sole fact that it was just confusing. From the Backstreet boys outfit to the Michael Jackson moves (or lack there of), it was just cringy.
