Chicago Charity To Change Its Name Following Kim Kardashian's Tweets

A charity in Chicago is changing its name after Kim Kardashian had a Twitter argument with local rapper Rhymefest.

Rhymefest tweeted asking Drake for help rebuilding Donda's House.

Donda’s House is a Chicago charity that supports the South Side community and helps youth through arts education and youth development. The charity was named after Kanye West’s late mother, Dr. Donda West.

Rhymefest claims Kanye West abandoned the charity, and his statement was enough to fuel a response from Kardashian.

Songwriter and rapper Rhymefest is known for his prominent credits, which include co-writing West's "Jesus Walks." Rhymefest is also the co-founder and director of Donda's House.

Kanye, asked me if I would come help with his album again. I wasn’t seeking Kanye…he was seeking me. I spoke to your husband about peace and balance, as well as about the work that we have been doing in Chicago regarding Donda’s House. He was more interested in his record,” Rhymefest said yesterday in a statement posted to Twitter.

Donda’s House also released a statement on Twitter, saying that the non-profit had decided "to no longer use the name Donda's House Inc."

"This has been an incredibly difficult decision but the social media quotes from Kim Kardashian West, as well as the expressed interested of her family running the organization, has brought us to this decision," the statement said.

Kardashian has yet to respond to the latest comments from Rhymefest, and West has been silent on his Twitter.
