So let me tell you about this lady from California that lived to be 102 years-old! Good for her for making it that far. Anybody over 100 years old has achieved something grand in my eyes! Well, unfortantlySo let me tell you this lady from California that was able to see her 102nd birthday...which is an amazing thing! But unfortunately, this lady passed away a little over 6 months ago and would you believe that DirecTV sill charged her an early termination fee? Even though she had passed away, they still charged her family a $160 fee to get out of the two-year contract. And the only reason this woman got DirecTV is so her nurse had something to watch while she was at the house taking care of her!
It took the family going to their local TV station to get the word out and that's when DirecTV agreed to waive the fee.
