The nominations for the 2026 Oscars have been revealed.

On Thursday (January 22), Danielle Brooks and Lewis Pullman announced the list of nominees for the 98th Academy Awards, celebrating achievement in cinema over the past year, including a brand new category for best casting.

Many actors who earned nods for this year's awards ceremony have either won or been nominated before, including Timothée Chalamet, Emma Stone and Leonardo DiCaprio, but there were also several new faces, including Michael B. Jordan, Elle Fanning and Jacob Elordi.

Ryan Coogler's Sinners also made history with 16 nominations, breaking the record for most nominations for a single film in Oscars history that was previously held by Titanic and La La Land, which each had 14 nods, People reports. One Battle After Another racked up 13 nominations, while Marty Supreme, Sentimental Value and Frankenstein all earned nine.

Hosted by Conan O'Brien for the second year in a row, the 2026 Academy Awards will air live on ABC and Hulu from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 15.
